We purchased this item from a local appliance store on Feb 19, 2010. The salesperson praised the Whirlpool line over Sharp or GE which they didn't sell. The Whirlpool line has Magic Chef on the low end, then next up is Whirpool and Amana with Maytag their top of the line. He didn't think it was worth the extra $100.00 to buy the Maytag for the little extra quality or features and neither did we.
